Meghan Trainor is all about that family.
The pop star — who rose to fame in 2014 after the release of her first single “All About That Bass” — has three children with her husband, “Spy Kids” star Daryl Sabara.
The couple debuted their romance in 2016, with the actor popping the question on his now-wife’s 24th birthday the following year.
“The love of my life @darylsabara made all of my dreams come true,” Trainor gushed in December 2017. “He proposed to me under a tunnel of beautiful Christmas lights and surprised me with my family and friends. I’m still in shock. I’ve never been this happy!”
The pair tied the knot on the singer’s 25th birthday.
Since then, the duo have welcomed sons Riley and Barry, as well as daughter Mikey — and Trainor made headlines in April 2026 for canceling her 2026 “Get in Girl” tour to focus on their family.

Daryl Sabara
By the time Trainor began dating Sabara, the child star had reprised his Juni Cortez “Spy Kids” role in three sequels, also appearing in episodes of “Friends,” “Will and Grace” and more popular shows.
Sabara has since starred in a series of Trainor’s music videos, including “Made You Look,” “My Kind of Present” and “To the Moon.”
In 2025, Sabara opened up about keeping the spark alive in their marriage.
“It’s all about communication,” he told “Drew Barrymore Show” viewers at the time. “We don’t talk for most of the day because she is working and I’m with the kids, so really it’s just sitting down and getting some eye contact and putting the phones away and talking it out.”
Often, the couple have “talked it out” on their “Workin’ On It with Meghan Trainor & Ryan Trainor” podcast, which debuted in 2021, alongside Meghan’s brother, Ryan.
They are also in couple’s therapy, which Meghan revealed to Us Weekly in April 2026, explaining, “Having the young kids … your marriage gets pushed to the side, and then you’re like, ‘Why are we fighting? We’re on the same team.’”
Riley
Trainor and Sabara welcomed their first child, son, Riley, on Feb. 8, 2021.
The pair shared the news on social media, with Sabara gushing, “@meghan_trainor you are my forever Valentine and I’m so beyond grateful for you bringing our son into the world ❤️.”
While on the “Today” show four months later, Trainor recalled Riley experiencing “breathing issues” after his C-section arrival.
“It was one of those horror stories where he didn’t cry,” she divulged in the June 2021 interview. “He didn’t make noise when he came out. I was like, ‘Why isn’t he crying?’ It was terrifying.”
The infant was able to go home after five days — and made headlines the following year when he started wearing glasses.
When Riley celebrated his 5th birthday in February 2026, Meghan raved, “You make us so beyond proud. You are SO smart and SO silly. You’re always trying to make everyone laugh.”
Barry
Barry Bruce joined the family on July 1, 2023.
His birth, notably, coincided with the anniversary of Trainor and Sabara’s first date.
“He was a big boy at 8lbs 7oz…and sideways (transverse), but we had an amazing, successful c-section, and I finally got my skin to skin time!” Meghan announced via Instagram at the time. “Thank you to all of the incredible doctors and nurses who took such great care of us.”
On his 1st birthday in 2024, the songwriter gushed, “MY SWEET BARRY BOY IS ONE!!! WHAT IS HAPPENING! I blinked but also it feels like I’ve known you my whole life. We all love you so much! Thanks for all the beautiful smiles and sweet hugs and kisses.”
Mikey Moon
Meghan and Sabara surprised fans in January 2026 by announcing they’d welcomed baby No. 3 via surrogate.
“Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it to the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate,” the performer wrote via Instagram at the time. “We are forever grateful to all the doctors, nurses, teams who made this dream possible.
“We had endless conversations with our doctors in this journey, and this was the safest way for us to be able to continue growing our family. We are over the moon in love,” she continued, noting that Riley and Barry had chosen their sister’s middle name.
Later that same week, Meghan defended using a gestational carrier, telling People that “every family’s journey looks different, and all of them are extremely valid.”
