The all-electric Mazda6e has been teased for quite some time here, starting with its first appearance at the 2026 Singapore Motor Show at the start of the year. It was then showcased at roadshows, albeit in a left-hand drive guise.
But just a couple of weeks ago, we got the news that the Mazda6e is now ready for customer test drives. And now, Mazda Singapore has just launched the Mazda6e at its roadshow at the Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre atrium. Mazda’s first electric fastback sedan is officially here!

The Mazda6e builds upon the iconic heritage of the popular Mazda6 sedan, bringing electrification and sleek styling to the table
The Mazda6 has been one of the most iconic Mazda models in Singapore, with the previous generation enjoying a production run of over a decade.
As the automotive industry shifts its focus towards electric vehicles, Mazda followed suit with the introduction of the all-new electric Mazda6e to replace the iconic sedan.
With its sculpted silhouette, smooth flowing lines and bold proportions, the Mazda6e’s ‘Electrifying Design Crafted to Perfection’ design concept is a natural evolution to Mazda’s ‘Kodo — Soul of Motion’ philosophy.
From its frameless doors, integrated door handles and bold lighting signature, the Mazda6e has been designed to impress.
At the rear, the LED lightbar has a familiar, yet updated cylindrical lighting element. Meanwhile, the retractable rear spoiler increases stability when needed, and disappears into the bodywork cleanly and subtly after.
Head inside and you’ll be greeted by a spacious tan and black, Nappa leather and Suede interior (Sports trim cars come with black leatherette upholstery) that has been put together with an exquisite design.
With a length of 4,921mm and a substantial wheelbase of 2,895mm, legroom and space are substantial within, adding to the comfortable atmosphere.
In the driver seat, you will get all the information needed from an augmented-reality head-up display, along with a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster.
Infotainment and settings within the car can all be accessed through the floating 14.6-inch centre display, along with voice control for further ease of use.
The Mazda6e is powered by a single-motor rear-wheel drive powertrain, putting out 190kW (255bhp) and 290Nm of torque for a breezy drive. With a 78kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, the Mazda6e manages a WLTP range of up to 560km.
For those interested in the new Mazda6e, the car will be showcased at Mazda Singapore’s roadshow which is happening at the atrium of Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre from today till Sunday, Aug 23.
The Mazda6e is available from $229,888, and interested customers can now place their orders for the brand’s new sedan.
