Married At First Sight’s Stella Mickunaite and Filip Gregov have dropped a major spoiler about their relationship status.

During an interview with Daily Mail, the couple all but confirmed they were still together, putting to rest any doubts sparked by the on-screen interrogation from Stella’s friends.

Asked how it felt rewatching their wedding, Stella revealed she was emotional.

‘I couldn’t stop crying watching it back,’ she said.

‘It was such an amazing day. All the right people were there, the energy was right, the venue was incredible. I just felt super blessed.’

Filip echoed her sentiments, describing the day as one of the most meaningful moments of his life.

During an interview with Daily Mail, the couple all but confirmed they were still together

For Stella, their instant connection went far deeper than attraction.

The bride, who grew up in Lithuania before moving to Australia, said dating Filip felt different to any relationship she’d had before.

‘I’ve dated Aussie men in the past and I noticed a massive difference in values,’ she explained.

‘I often felt misunderstood and judged for wanting to build more in life.’

‘Connecting with a man whose family background is the same as mine was a beautiful surprise. I felt seen, I felt heard. It laid a really strong base for everything that followed.’

Stella also reflected on her difficult upbringing, admitting she had previously gravitated towards the wrong men.

‘I grew up in broken homes and dangerous environments,’ she said.

‘That exposed me to behaviours you don’t want to repeat. Men who don’t treat you well and think you’ll just stay no matter what.’

Filip admitted he had experienced similar frustrations in past relationships. ‘There was always a disconnect with my previous partners,’ he said

‘I had to re-educate myself, and I’m very thankful the experts actually listened and delivered beautiful Filip.’

Filip admitted he had experienced similar frustrations in past relationships.

‘There was always a disconnect with my previous partners,’ he said.

‘They weren’t culturally aligned with what I considered normal in relationships. Family was always friction.’

‘When I saw how in tune Stella was with her family and emotions, I thought, “Here we go. We’re aligned.”‘

However, their fairy-tale wedding quickly hit turbulence when Stella’s friends questioned Filip’s motives, suggesting he may have joined the experiment to promote his online coaching and YouTube work.

Filip said the confrontation left him feeling blindsided.

‘What I thought was just a passing comment got blown into something massive,’ he said.

‘Joe definitely let everyone know his concerns. They didn’t know me from a bar of soap.’

‘There was a moment where I felt pressed, absolutely. I was sweating a little. But I looked them in the eye and said, “I’m here for Stella.”‘

He firmly denied fame playing any role in his decision to join the show.

‘Absolutely not,’ he said.

‘I’d been professionally single for years. I thought if I wanted a different outcome, I had to try something different.’

Stella admitted the doubts raised by her friends were confronting and forced her to pull back emotionally.

Despite the rocky start, the couple confirmed their physical chemistry was undeniable

‘I was taken aback,’ she said. ‘I went from the clouds back to the earth very quickly.’

‘I had to put my blinkers on because at the end of the day, I didn’t know this man. My mind would still go back to that fear even when things were going right.’

She credited Filip’s patience with helping her break old patterns in real time.

‘He sat down and had the same conversations with me over and over again,’ she said.

Despite the rocky start, the couple confirmed their physical chemistry was undeniable, with plenty of PDA still to come on screen.

‘We’re not allergic to affection,’ Filip joked. ‘The chemistry was there from the get-go.’

Stella admitted she initially tried to slow things down after her friends’ warnings.

‘I literally said, “Two weeks, nothing is happening,”‘ she revealed.

‘But common sense prevailed. It wasn’t forced. It just progressed naturally.’

As for the upcoming dinner parties, the couple say they steer clear of drama and focus on each other.

‘We don’t insert ourselves,’ Stella said. ‘If people judge us, that’s projection.’

Filip added that Stella’s refusal to engage in group drama strengthened their relationship.

‘We saved ourselves so much heartache,’ he said. ‘I hate drama queens. That was always a turn-off for me.’

Asked what viewers should know about them as a couple, Stella said first impressions may be misleading.

‘I can come across as serious or blunt, but underneath I’m highly empathetic and emotional,’ she said.

Filip had one final message.

‘I apologise in advance for the PDA,’ he laughed.
