June “Mama June” Shannon is suffering from a mysterious medical issue that “could immobilize” her, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

“I had a total hysterectomy unexpectedly last year — last April. It was not expected,” the reality TV star explained to “Virtual Reali-Tea” co-hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy on Tuesday. “It was a scare for me because I did have some fibroid cysts that went to separated cysts, and we had a little scare.”

The “Mama June: Road to Redemption” star added that it was even scarier following the tragic passing of daughter Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell, who died in December 2023 after a battle with cancer. She was 29.

“Me, in my mind, going through what Anna went through, I was worried it was going to be ovarian cancer. I even told the [other] kids that. I was in my head for a long time.”

Mama June — who confirmed she is going through menopause — added that she’s “still dealing with medical issues,” but clarified that the problems are “totally separate” and not related to the permanent stop of her menstrual periods.

“Some days are a struggle for me, but it’s nothing like [cancer],” the “Toddlers & Tiaras” alum, 46, explained. “I tell people, ‘We know it’s not ever gonna kill me, but it could immobilize me.’”

While her exact health problems remain unclear at this time, Mama June is staying positive, as she has always done when providing fans with updates on her medical concerns in the past.

Mama June famously underwent gastric sleeve surgery to lose weight in 2016, for example, but later confessed in April 2024 that she had gained back 130 pounds.

She exclusively told Page Six in June of that same year that she had lost 30 pounds in just two months after she started taking weight-loss medication.

Mama June had another health scare in July 2025 when she was rushed to the hospital after a psychic warned her of a “heart attack” while filming “Mama June: Family Crisis.”

During Tuesday’s interview, Mama June was joined by daughters Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and Jessica Shannon.

The family detailed how they have managed to cope with the tragic loss of Anna more than two years after her heartbreaking passing.

“I definitely think some days are better than others, if I’m being honest,” said Pumpkin. “I still catch myself, sometimes late at night if I’m scrolling TikTok, going to Anna’s page, watching her old videos.”

Jessica chimed in, adding, “Or when you play games that y’all used to play together, like Monopoly. Every time, her face pops up.”

The girls added that one specific song that always reminds them of Anna is Warren Zeiders’ “Pretty Little Poison,” as it played at her funeral.

“It plays literally every time in the car without a shadow of a doubt,” Honey Boo Boo shared. “I let it play all the way through because I’m like … ‘You can’t skip it.’”
