Lindsay Lohan is going back to her roots.
After several years as a blond, the 40-year-old actress returned to her signature red hair recently, posting Instagram photos Tuesday of the color transformation.
Lohan’s longtime hairstylist, Danielle Priano, was behind the mane makeover — and the star’s fans were thrilled to see her fiery locks back.
One commented on Lohan’s post calling her “the most iconic redhead in pop culture,” while another wrote, “Redhead Lindsay is the best Lindsay.”
“She’s back!” another chimed in, while still more called her new (old!) look “iconic,” “stunning” and “gorgeous.”
While Lohan’s experimented with a variety of hair hues ranging from platinum blond to dark brown, she first burst onto the Hollywood scene with her natural red locks in 1998’s “The Parent Trap.”
It’s been a busy couple of years for the actress, who reunited with Jamie Lee Curtis for 2025’s “Freakier Friday” and recently wrapped production on the Hulu series “Count My Lies,” in which she’ll star alongside Shailene Woodley and Kit Harington.
This isn’t the first time Lohan’s thrown it back to her “Parent Trap” days; while promoting the “Freaky Friday” sequel last year, she stepped out in Balmain and Roberto Cavalli looks that were clearly inspired by Annie and Hallie Parker’s signature styles.
The only element missing at the time? That iconic red hair.
