Lil Nas X appeared in court to request a diversion for his police battery arrest in August after he was accused of punching a cop in the face.

On Thursday, the “Rodeo” crooner’s lawyer asked a Los Angeles judge to delay the case so she could submit a motion to transfer it into an unspecified diversion program, Rolling Stone reported.

It’s unclear what type of program the attorney will seek, but the requests usually result in defendants seeking treatment to avoid conviction.

Lil Nas X, born Montero Hill, 26, will appear back in court on April 6.

“All I wanted to say is to my fans, I really love, and I miss you, and I appreciate your support so much, and I can’t wait to be back hugging you guys,” the hitmaker said outside of the courthouse following Thursday’s hearing.

“You guys, have a good day.”

Lil Nas X was arrested in August after he allegedly charged at officers following a night out around Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles.

At the time, officers approached the “Old Town Road” singer after receiving a call about a “nude man walking in the street.”

One video showed him roaming around in white underwear and cowboy boots, while another showed him later stripping and ditching his tighty whities.

Lil Nas X allegedly punched an officer in the face two times that evening, NBC reported.

Page Six learned that the hitmaker was “taken into custody” and charged with four felonies, including battery with injury on a police officer.

He was also “transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose.”

Lil Nas X, who was arrested on a Friday, remained behind bars until his first court hearing the following Monday. He pleaded not guilty and posted $75,000 bail.

The “Industry Baby” singer expressed his remorse while locked up, telling his father, Robert Stafford, to echo an emotional message to his fans.

“When I went to visit [him in jail], he asked me to say, ‘tell everybody I’m sorry they saw me like that,’” the patriarch said, explaining his son had a breakdown.

“Even in that moment, he was apologizing to people for something he was going through.”
