Liev Schreiber tore into critics hurling nepo baby accusations at his youngest child, Kai, after she made her runway debut at Paris Fashion Week.
“I don’t really have any thoughts for the haters,” the proud dad told TMZ on Tuesday.
The “Perfect Couple” star, 57, explained that a child’s career shouldn’t be affected by what their parents do for a living.
“I’m going to put it to you like this: What if you were a professional actor, and your child decided they wanted to do something in this world?” he said before asking rhetorically, “Do they have a choice of what you did?”
Schreiber said it “doesn’t matter” that he is a famous actor and that Kai, 16, should be able to chase her dreams.
“That’s her life. She does what she wants with her life, and I’m super proud of her,” he gushed. “I thought she did an amazing job in the show.”
Kai, who uses she/her pronouns, entered the world of fashion by strutting down the catwalk during Valentino’s Ready to Wear Fall/Winter 2025-2026 show on March 9.
She wore a leopard-print sweater dress with feather detailing paired with white lace tights, a knit cap and chunky sunglasses.
The “Spotlight” star celebrated Kai’s fashion show appearance by commenting on her Instagram post, “Beyond beyond Kai.”
The budding fashionista is the youngest child of Schreiber and Naomi Watts, who split in 2016 after 11 years together.
Watts also cheered for Kai’s stylish moment, writing on social media, “That’s my @maisonvalentino baby! I’m squealing with pride. Ilysm @kaischreiberrr ❤️.”
The “King Kong” actress and her ex-partner also share son Sasha, 17.
Schreiber and Watts, 56, continue to amicably co-parent their children despite both moving on with new romantic partners.
Watts married Billy Crudup in June 2023, while Schreiber and Taylor Neisen tied the knot the following month.
He and Niesen welcomed a child together, daughter Hazel Bee, in August 2023.
