Khloé Kardashian revealed she got her two cats declawed after being “really misadvised.”

“I was really misadvised about getting my cats declawed. I’ve never owned cats before. I didn’t even know that was a thing,” she explained on Wednesday’s episode of her “Khloé In Wonder Land” podcast.

“I feel really, really terrible that I did go in this direction. I feel like that’s why my cats are miserable and it was at my doing,” she admitted.

“My cats wear Air Tags. They’re not allowed to even go near the door. I’m so afraid if they get out because they have no way to defend themselves. They lost their protection tools. So it makes me sad.”

The “Kardashians” star claimed that her two felines, Gray Kitty and Baby Kitty, that she got for her daughter, True, act “possessed” and try to make her life “miserable” because they underwent the widely banned surgery.

Fans in the comments section of the podcast were not happy with the reality star even though she explained that she was unaware that declawing is strongly discouraged by veterinary professionals.

“I cannot believe you got your cats declawed. That is so beyond inhumane and makes me so sad,” one angrily wrote.

“Declawed!??? Poor babies that is soo cruel. This should be illegal,” another added.

“Why would one consider declawing a cat? This action is comparable to the act of poaching an elephant for its tusks. Strongly advise against acquiring any additional animals,” one said.

The Kardashian clan has come under fire for the treatment of their many pets on several occasions.

Last December, Kim Kardashian was called out by PETA after she gifted each of her four children a new Pomeranian puppy on Christmas.

“Puppies are not plushies, and it’s a damn shame that Kim missed the chance to be a spokesperson for shelter pups and instead is being rightly slammed on social media for that,” Ingrid Newkirk, the founder of the organization, told the Daily Mail at the time.

“Ignoring the homeless animals crisis is inexcusably callous,” Newkirk stated, urging the Skims founder “to call PETA or a local shelter the next time [she] wants to bring an animal into [her] home.”

In 2022, Kim was heavily criticized when she posted a since-deleted video of her pups living in the garage.

After seeing the concerning video, the animal advocacy group exclusively told Page Six that it’s “hoping hard” she has other arrangements for her dogs.

“What PETA does know is that dogs are highly social pack animals who need more than just soft beds and decorative stockings: They deserve to feel safe, loved, and to live inside the house as part of the family.”
