Keke Palmer is hoping Russell Wilson and his wife, Ciara, can play cupid for her.
“I heard y’all are good at matchmaking,” Palmer, 32, said on the Tuesday, June 16, episode of her “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer” podcast. “I just wanted to make sure I asked before we got to the game, who do y’all see for me?”
While Wilson, 37, shared that he had “some ideas,” he wanted to hear what Palmer is looking for in a future partner.
“I’m looking for, first of all, faith,” Palmer said. “I’m looking for a God-fearing man. Somebody that really loves God and the way that they treat their friends, their family, the people they work with. They actually know him embodied. I’m looking for somebody that knows where they want to go. They are clear on that path. They are absolutely having clarity about where they want to go and who they want to be.”
She continued, “Somebody with a good sense of humor. … They need to be a man that is cool with me being me. That doesn’t mean not respecting and honoring him, but just having my world, being able to do my own stuff.”
Palmer shared that she wants someone who loves her son, Leodis “Leo” Andrellton, whom she welcomed in 2023 with ex Darius Jackson. Ciara, 40, went on to note that Palmer is “manifesting” her perfect partner by publicly sharing what she’s looking for.
Days before the episode dropped, Palmer was spotted dining with Hot Ones host Sean Evans at Brooklyn Italian hot spot Lucali on Friday, June 12. In the photos, Evans, 40, and Palmer were seen “locked in” during their conversation, per Cosmopolitan.
Evans previously opened up about his chemistry with Palmer.
“Working with Keke Palmer is always like a one plus one equals three situation,” Evans said on June 9, per The Hollywood Reporter. “You know who I loved interviewing was Viola Davis. I really loved interviewing Viola Davis. Paul Rudd is another one who immediately understood what we were doing and got me.”
Palmer and Evans have not publicly addressed their relationship status. Us Weekly previously reached out to reps for both Evans and Palmer for comment.
Months before their NYC outing, Palmer and Evans shared a kiss during her third Hot Ones appearance.
“And then there’s one more thing I’d like to say, Sean. Because I saw an interview where you said, like, I was your favorite guest, you know, and all this really sweet stuff. And I know we’ve just had some wings, but I thought that maybe we could just have a quick smooch to see if there’s a spark,” Palmer said during the episode.
After giving her a kiss, Evans replied, “When I’m dying and my life flashes before my eyes, I’ll have that snapshot.”
