Jeff Goldblum, 73, made a very rare appearance with his wife and two young sons in Italy this week.
The Jurassic Park actor wore a black leather jacket with pale gray jeans while his 43-year-old spouse Emilie Livingston was in a black suit with fitted button down shirt.
They were with their sons Charlie Ocean, 10, and River Joe, eight, who were dressed casually in sweatshirts and sneakers.
The family of four was attending the welcome cocktail party for the guests of the Friday Opening Ceremony of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics held at the Teatro alla Scala.
This comes after the movie star shared what a joy it is to have two young children at home.
In 2022, Goldblum said it was fun to be a new dad in his later years while admitting his brood of two are like ‘feral creatures unleashed.’
The actor spoke about fatherhood during an appearance on NBC’s Today.
He said: ‘It’s amazing, it’s revivifying, and makes my relationship with Emilie, frankly, enhanced. Seeing [my wife] in this new role is unbelievable. She’s heroic beyond imagination.’
‘And it’s challenging and it’s sometimes maddening and very volatile. As you know, at three and five, five and seven, they can be like feral creatures unleashed.’
The star concluded: ‘Oh yeah, and sweet and amazing. It’s great.’
In 2019, Jeff spoke candidly about his marriage, and admitted he had ‘never been particularly passionate’ about fatherhood before having his children.
Of becoming a dad, the star told Radio Times: ‘I never thought that I was going to do it. I had never been particularly passionate [about fatherhood] or envisioned it for myself – I don’t have any nieces or nephews, had never seen a birth before.

‘In the couple of lovely previous marriages I had, there was some fantasy talk about it, but never any serious business. And I always thought it was a good thing that I didn’t have any drama with kids and breaking up.’
Of how he and the Canadian Olympic gymnast came to a decision about having children, he added: ‘We thought about it for a year, talked about it with my therapist, went in together, and after a year of that, I said, “Yeah, this sounds kinda good, let’s get married and have kids.”‘
The Emmy nominee also went on to say that he hoped, and felt, they would ‘be together now’ for the rest of their lives.
Discussing how he raises his two sons, Jeff said his The Grand Budapest Hotel co-star Tilda Swinton advised him to show his little ones silent films by Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, while he also intends to read them PG Wodehouse’s books when they’re ‘old enough.’

Emilie has previously admitted it was ‘scary’ when she first laid bare her desire to settle down with the star.
In a sweet tribute to her husband, the athlete wrote on Instagram: ‘Loved and appreciated! @jeffgoldblum always makes me feel loved- from the first day we met!
‘At first I wondered if this feeling could be true because I hadn’t experienced such innocent, passionate, tender, honest love before so quickly. Some people like to play games and play hard to get.’
She continued: ‘But we were just honest and aware from day one and took our relationship day by day until I had to express my feelings of wanting a family with HIM and to share the rest of my life with his beautiful soul!
‘That was a scary day, opening myself up completely, knowing he might not want kids or to marry again.

‘And we just kept talking about it together and with our therapist until we decided that it was the right thing to do!’
This comes after Goldblum ‘stopped eating meat’ after grappling with the theme of animal cruelty in Wicked: For Good.
The actor stars in the musical blockbuster as the Wizard of Oz – who uses animals as a scapegoat to maintain his totalitarian control over the Emerald City and Oz – and Goldblum has now revealed he has become a vegetarian after playing the villain in Wicked: For Good ‘changed’ him.
During an appearance on This Morning, Goldblum said: ‘It’s uncommon that you get to be doing this over a period of time and get more fertile and juicy and interesting and relevant roles for yourself at this period of time.
‘Working with [director] Jon M. Chu [is] amazing. It’s changed me. You know, after doing this movie, we talked about the animal cruelty, I stopped eating meat and poultry. So this Christmas and Thanksgiving, I may be having another something else.
