Jesse Solomon threw some shade at West Wilson’s romance with Amanda Batula while reflecting on Summer House season 10.
“After watching the season back, what do you make of the conversation you had with West on the pool float, where he wouldn’t quite admit that he was upset that you were pursuing Ciara, but he was very openly vocal with the other guys in the house?” a fan asked Jesse, 32, during the Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen after show on Tuesday, April 21.
Jesse said it was “frustrating” to get called out by West for “trying to pursue” Ciara Miller last summer.
“Now, he’s hooking up with our friend’s wife,” Jesse added, garnering laughs from the audience.
Summer House season 10 featured a story line in which Jesse asked West — who dated Ciara in 2023 — if he could kiss her. West appeared upset with Jesse over the entire situation, which got back to Ciara. Ultimately, it caused some tension between Jesse and Ciara, which has since been squashed.
West has since confirmed that he’s dating their costar and Ciara’s close friend Amanda, who was married to fellow Bravo personality Kyle Cooke for four years. Amanda and Kyle announced their separation in January. By the end of March, Amanda and West released a statement confirming that they are together.
“As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling,” they wrote via Instagram, in part. “We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
Jesse addressed the scandal during WWHL on Tuesday, revealing that he found out about Amanda and West when the statement was released. However, Jesse said he did have some “suspicions” beforehand.
“There was a lot of just, like, flirting,” he said. “The boys went to brunch one day, and West went to brunch with Amanda after and didn’t tell us he was going to brunch with her.”
Jesse also said he and Kyle “ran into them at a bar” in March, further adding to the speculation.
“West and Amanda went to dinner without me in Miami when we were all there at the same time,” Jesse recalled. “Originally, I was just, like, offended, but then it made sense later. That was late Feb.”
When Jesse asked Amanda and West what was going on, he claimed “they both denied it to my face multiple times,” noting he has since heard from both of them.
“Amanda texted me apologizing, saying, ‘I’m sorry that I lied to you,’” Jesse said, adding that West didn’t offer an apology and that “the trust is a little broken” between them.
