A lucky Jacob Elordi fan got the surprise of her life last month when the Aussie actor gifted her with a piece of priceless memorabilia.

Patricia Albassit had a chance encounter with the 28-year-old Brisbane-born actor during a commercial flight while he was in Australia to promote his new movie, Wuthering Heights.

After landing, Elordi excused himself and ducked into a nearby bookshop and returned with a copy of Emily Brontë’s famous novel.

Elordi gifted her the book after he signed his autograph and included a message: ‘Dear Patricia! I hope the sun comes out for you today. Love, Heathcliff.’

Albassit detailed the incredible moment with the hunky star on TikTok, and included photos of Elordi reading a script during their flight.

She posted a selfie with Elordi, who she said was sitting across the aisle from her and spent the journey reading a screenplay.

‘So just randomly met Jacob Elordi,’ Albassit said in the video, which has racked up 2.2 million views in two days.

She said Elordi also purchased a copy of Wuthering Heights for a mother who he was sitting next to during the flight.

Albassit instantly recognised the Frankenstein actor as soon as he boarded the flight and she introduced herself.

‘[We] were walking out [with] him off the plane and he was talking to us like his friends!’ she recalled.

‘We said bye, and then he said, ”can you give me 2 mins”, came out with the book and signed it!

‘We hugged, and I was like wow, how tall are you? man hahahaahha.’

Albassit added that she also joked with the actor about flying on a commercial airline.

During his trip Down Under, the Aussie heartthrob thrilled his fans after visiting a small town newsagency.

He paid a visit to Mullumbimby Newsagency, where he posed with two young workers.

Mullumbimby, located in New South Wales, has just 4,000 residents, and is located close to the celebrity-favourite seaside town of Byron Bay.

‘Special visit to the Mullum Newsagency today. Jacob Elordi in town,’ read a post on the newsagency’s Facebook last month.

Mullumbimby is relatively local for Jacob, who was raised just two hours away, in Brisbane, Queensland.
