Influencer Mike “The Real Tarzann” Holston is offering an update on his recovery after experiencing a skydiving accident.
Holston reshared a video of himself initially posted on Saturday, December 27, where he wore a neck collar and explained that he “couldn’t even breathe” following the incident. The video then played a separate clip, which was recorded a “few hours later” and featured Holston giving a thumbs up for the camera.
“What’s up family. Thank God all is well. They didn’t get me off this Earth today,” Holston said via Instagram on Sunday, December 28. “But love y’all. Happy Holidays. Nothing to worry about. Just another rough day in the office. I love y’all and hopefully will see you all soon.”
Holston then gave a kiss for the camera before the video came to an end.
“Update 🤞🏾,” Holston captioned his post. “Couple moments to heal, Catch my breath, dust it off and get back out there ! Will post the video of what happened later ✨. Happy Holidays everyone big year ahead 🔥.”
He continued in the comments, “All is good ! If I wasn’t too banged up I’d gear up and go up again for another jump 🪂! Just a small mistake on my end and it’s apart of the sport ! Small user error but nonetheless stoked to be able to get back to it in no time ! Sorry if I scared you guys just wanted to let you all know what’s going on in real time before the media makes s**t up ! Im good just a little banged up 🤜🏾 another rough day in the office !”
Holston shared a photo of himself lying on a stretcher via Instagram on Saturday, December 27. In the photo, Holston gave a thumbs up for the camera.
“Yesterday I had a Skydiving 🪂 accident I’ll probably be out for a few weeks!” he captioned the post. “Will make a full update video on what went wrong in my bio ! I’m pretty banged up at the moment in some pretty good pain but just happy to be alive 🙏🏾. I know a lot of yall want to see me down but don’t count on it too long 😎 enjoy while you can !”
“Ain’t no one taking out my brother, will be back stronger than ever soon,” influencer Eli Wehbe wrote in the comments section, while musician Spence noted, “Damn brother glad it wasn’t worse! Heal up.” Influencer Jay Richardson added, “Brother we love you. We need you alive…. So glad ur OK.”

Holston, who rose to fame online for his videos featuring dangerous animals, amassed more than 1.3 million subscribers on YouTube and 16.6 million followers on Instagram.
Days before the incident, Holston shared a tribute to his dad.
“The holidays will never be the same without you dad 🖤,” he wrote via Instagram. “Mom still smiles we all try to join in on the holiday spirit ☀️. But some things you can’t get twice in this life I’m just happy we got to live it more than once with you 🫶🏾. Itll be a good time to start a family and show the kids what you did for us 🤞🏾 keep the legend going ✨.”
In the comments section, Holston remembered his father as someone who was “top of the food chain living a different lifestyle than most people today couldn’t even imagine.”
“Those of you who knew my father would understand what I’m saying!” he wrote. “He encouraged my love for animals because it was the only thing I was interested in as he was interested in sports ,fitness and combat but after he passed I took his interest of his own and made it apart of my life and kept the animals in the front along with the family ❤️! Life may look good on the outside but with some people they burn with a different fire inside .. one that cant be put out !”
