Influencer Katelynn Ordone and her husband, Jaelan Ordone, officially separated less than two months after their son, Preston, died at age 2.
In court documents exclusively obtained by Us Weekly, Katelynn listed their date of separation as June 15, 2025. Katelynn noted in the documents, which were filed in December 2025, that she and Jaelan had not reconciled or lived together since then.
The default judgment was denied by a judge in April. Katelynn and Jaelan tied the knot in 2022.
Katelynn confirmed her split from Jaelan to People on Sunday, July 12. One day prior, Katelynn returned to social media after a hiatus and shared photos with an unidentified man.
“As many of you already know … I’ve had a hard time coming back to social media since losing Preston. I’ve struggled to even pick up my phone to capture new memories, knowing he won’t be in any more of them,” she wrote via Instagram on Saturday, July 11. “It has been 443 days since my baby boy has been in heaven. There have been so many ups and downs, and while I’m still not ready to share everything with the world again just yet, I’ve finally started picking up my phone again and capturing new memories more often.”
She continued, “Even though it’s still hard, I’m grateful I’ve reached this point because I know that’s what Preston would want. I truly believe he wants his mama to continue finding joy until we meet again someday.”
While sharing the images from a beach, Katelynn added that she has a “new memory” she’d like to share with her followers.
“I hope to keep sharing more as I’m ready,” she wrote. “Thank y’all so much for all the love, support, and grace you’ve shown me through all of this.”
News broke in April 2025 that Katelynn and Jaelan’s son, Preston, died in a single-vehicle crash. At the time, both Katelynn and Jaelan were in the car and sustained injuries. Preston’s sister, Paisley, was at school during the accident.
One month later, the St. Tammany Parish coroner’s office shared that Preston died from “blunt force injuries due to a motor vehicle crash.” His death was categorized as accidental.
In June 2025, Katelynn shared a post honoring Jaelan on Father’s Day, writing via Instagram, “Happy Father’s Day to the best daddy out there. No holiday will ever feel the same without our Preston, but all he ever knew was love from his daddy. We may not understand now but we will see him again one day.”
