Denim jeans have always been one of my least favorite clothing items, yet I’ve never been able to stop searching for a pair that could make me feel different. And, drumroll please . . . I think I’ve finally found them. I’ve been genuinely loving Quince Bella Relaxed Straight Jeans so much that it makes me feel like maybe, just maybe, I could be a jeans person.

I ordered Quince Bella jeans a few months ago after seeing a friend wear them. I had been on the hunt for a pair of straight-leg jeans that fit well, looked good with everything and didn’t feel too restrictive. They looked promising, so I ordered them and tried them on. Spoiler: I’ve worn the Quince jeans at least once a week ever since.

It only took me one wear to realize that these were the exact jeans I had been looking for. They’re made of a cotton blend, giving them the perfect amount of stretch. They don’t dig into my waist or feel too tight around the legs, but they also don’t stretch so much that they feel like they’ve gone up a size after a few hours. The jeans are incredibly comfortable and flexible, even after wearing them for a few hours.

Another thing that I love about Quince Bella Relaxed Straight Jeans is the silhouette. They’re marketed as straight-leg jeans, but I find them to be a little bit more baggy than other straight-leg jeans I’ve tried — and for me, that’s a good thing. I’m only 5’0, and most baggy jeans are just too big for my frame. Even though I love the look, I usually steer clear of them. These have a slightly baggy look that doesn’t swallow me up and looks really flattering.

I love how the overall style is classic and timeless, but just trendy enough to make me feel stylish. I also find them to be super versatile. I’ve worn the jeans with heels and a dressy top for a night out, but I’ve also kept them super simple with a white tee and sneakers.

Another plus: Quince Bella Relaxed Straight Jeans are available in four different inseams. Again, I’m petite, so this is really important to me. They were actually sold out in the shorter inseam when I ordered them, so I stuck with the 28-inch and found them to be surprisingly perfect. They are just a tiny bit too long on me, so they look best with platform shoes (which I usually wear anyway). Overall, I love the look and feel as though they elongate my legs just enough.

I’ve worn and washed my Quince jeans countless times since I received them a few months ago, and they’ve held up extremely well. They barely look worn, and the color disguises stains well. While some denim (especially stretch denim) seems to almost shrink in the wash, my Quince jeans feel the same as day one — even after a stint in the dryer.

I love Quince Bella Relaxed Straight Jeans so much that I recently ordered one more pair just to have a backup. At just $50, these are some of the least expensive denim jeans I’ve ever bought, and they’re easily the best ones I’ve ever worn. I’d recommend trying them even if you normally don’t like denim. If they can change my mind, they can change anyone’s mind.
