I wore nothing but these Rothy’s Mary Janes for two weeks, grabbing coffee, meeting a friend, attending industry events and running errands. On one particular day, I even logged 10,500 steps and ended it ache-free with zero blisters. But this comfort didn’t require a long break-in period; straight out of the box, they felt like clouds on my feet.
The Rothy’s Mary Janes are also perfect for spring. The range of colorways — including tan stripes, raspberry pink and vibrant yellow — adds a pop of personality, while the lightweight material keeps the feet cool.
Styling the Cruisers is simple, too. I paired them with everything from jeans to maxi skirts, finishing the looks with elevated accessories. They’ve become my throw-on-and-go shoes, taking little to no effort. I even wore them on a late-night walk, mimicking slippers but with a chic twist.
In the name of honesty, the only downside is some slight scuffing on the material after consistent wear, likely due in part to the delicate cream colorway I chose from Rothy’s site. However, the machine-washable design makes it simple to eliminate any blemishes; simply toss them in a cold cycle, allow them to air dry and you have yourself a fresh pair of shoes.
