Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau displayed some major PDA in New York City Monday night.
The two couldn’t seem to keep their hands off each other while watching the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival premiere of the singer’s new concert documentary, “Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live from Paris.”
The couple held hands and were spotted hugging and dancing throughout the evening. At one point, they got emotional when “Not Like the Movies” played on the big screen, with the singer wiping away tears after it finished.
Trudeau often had his arm around Perry’s waist and could be seen tenderly stroking her back.
Earlier, the “Roar” singer, 41, and the former Canadian Prime Minister, 54, made their red carpet debut, with Perry looking glam in a white vintage Lanvin gown and Trudeau looking dapper in a tuxedo.
After the movie aired, Perry, who clambered onto the stage without using steps, spoke about the tour, which supported her seventh studio album, “143,” and saw her perform 91 concerts around the globe.
Perry shared that she feels like a “more grounded person in so many aspects” of her life, and that Trudeau has a lot to do with that.
“I’m very in love,” the pop star revealed. “Before that (Paris) show, I met the love of my life, and I felt very anchored by that,” describing herself as a “bit of a rainbow type,” who likes “to fly super high.”
“Sometimes I need to be anchored,” she continued, “and to have that anchor finally makes me feel really whole now.”
Their red carpet appearance Monday night marked a major relationship milestone ahead of their first anniversary as a couple.
They first sparked rumors in July 2025 when they were spotted together in Montreal. Months later, in December 2025, they went Instagram-official with pics from a Tokyo trip.
After celebrating the holidays and ringing in the new year together, the couple was seen jamming out to Justin Bieber’s 2026 Coachella set together in April.
And things have only been heating up from there. A source told Us Weekly earlier this month that Perry introduced her 5-year-old daughter, Daisy (whom she shares with ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom), to Trudeau’s three children with estranged wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau.
