OUTtv’s The Dressing Room has added to its second season cast, with Will & Grace star Eric McCormack, Andrea Bang (Kim’s Convenience) and Marianas Trench frontman Josh Ramsay joining in guest roles.

The character-driven series, to debut Aug. 24 on OUTtv worldwide, will also see a cameo from Laura Bell Bundy, who played the original Elle in Broadway‘s Legally Blonde, and additional guest performer appearances by Katie Findlay, Eduard Witzke, Jacqueline Robbins and Joyce Robbins.

The Dressing Room was created by Vancouver theatre artists Paul Almeida and Makayla Moore. “Having Eric join The Dressing Room meant the world to a show built by and for theatre people. From our first meeting, he was such a great team player and collaborator, it felt like he wanted us to succeed, and was sending the elevator back down,“ Almeida said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.

“We are so lucky to have someone like him (McCormack) in our community and are equally privileged to have so many talented people — all the amazing cast, directors and crew who came out to support this project,” Moore added in their joint statement. Returning cast for the series includes Irene Karas Loeper, Jason Sakaki, Jeffrey Follis and Alex Gullason.

The Dressing Room follows a fictional touring musical, Balloon Boy, as cast and crew keep the show alive every night with backstage meltdowns, romantic entanglements and Broadway-sized ambitions. The second season shoot in Vancouver took place over 10 days, with Nat Boltt, Jennifer Copping, Milo Shandel, Josh Epstein and Almeida directing episodes. Saarthak Taneja handled cinematography.

The Dressing Room is written by Kelli Ogmundson, Epstein and Almeida, who executive produces alongside Moore.
