Demi Lovato is showing Us her tour bag must-haves.
The singer-songwriter’s It’s Not That Deep Tour kicks off April 13 in Orlando, Florida — and in the latest issue of Us Weekly, Lovato breaks down all the necessities she’s bringing with her.
If someone were to peek inside her bag, “They would think that I am ‘Mama Demi,’” she jokes. “I have everything that you need, whether it’s a snack or extra earplugs for the plane. I fit a lot in my little bag.”
So what exactly is her go-to “little bag?” She tells Us: “I swap out my bags pretty often, but the one that I’m carrying right now is the multipocket bucket bag from Acne Studios.” One essential she always keeps close is mouthwash. “TheraBreath is definitely in my bag,” she reveals. “When your breath feels fresh, you feel more open, more like yourself, and you know you’re ready to take on anything. It gives you that confidence that you need to do what you need to do.”

“Sometimes I keep a crystal [with me] just for protection from negative energy. Or depending on what I need it for, I’ll have different [ones],” the singer says. “That’s my travel go-to. My husband has gotten me a few crystals that I always keep, so that’s sentimental to me.”

“Having a snack on me is really important to sustain my energy, especially while I’m on the road,” says Lovato, who’s a fan of RXBars.

Lovato is low-maintenance when it comes to her makeup, opting for Laneige lip balm to give her a non-sticky glow.

The Grammy-nominated artist carries a few drugstore buys. “Advil is essential,” she explains. And she always has hand sanitizer on tap. “That’s really important. I never want to get sick.”
