Coleen Rooney and her husband Wayne had a jungle reunion with her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! co-star Danny Jones on Thursday.

The WAG, 39, missed out on the crown during last year’s series of the ITV show when the McFly star, 39, won King Of The Jungle.

Smiling for a photo as they reunited this week, the duo were joined by Coleen’s husband Wayne during the day out.

Sharing the snap to his Instagram Story, Danny wrote: ‘Fun morning with Coleen and Wayne.’

Coleen dressed casually in a stylish striped top and a pair of light wash jeans which she teamed with loafers.

The pair have remained firm friends since their stint in the Australian jungle with the TV personality also attending the McFly and Busted gig in Manchester this month.

Taking to Instagram before the show, Coleen shared photos with husband Wayne and her parents Colette and Tony McLoughlin.

She wrote: ‘Fantastic concert, great company, lovely catch ups @waynerooney @dannyjonesofficial’.

During Danny and Coleen’s series third place went to Reverend Richard Coles, who became the tenth celebrity to be evicted.

They survived 21 days in the jungle alongside their celebrity co-stars including Maura Higgins.

Maura and Danny hit headlines in February after sharing a drunken kiss together at an afterparty of the BRIT Awards.

They later shared an awkward and very public reunion at the National Television Awards in September.

The McFly singer saw his marriage to model Georgia rocked after being pictured cosying up to Maura at a Universal Records party, with further reports claiming the pair had continued their night until 6am, sharing wine together at Nobu Hotel bar.

Since the scandal, neither Danny or Maura have attended any of the same events, but they were forced to share the same stage after I’m A Celeb’s win.

With hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly absent to collect the gong, the 2024 I’m A Celebrity cast took to the stage together, with Danny giving the acceptance speech as the reigning champion, while Maura stood mere feet away.

Danny and Coleen’s reunion comes after social media sensation AngryGinge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, revealed the advice that Coleen gave him ahead of his stint on this year’s I’m A Celebrity.

He admitted he is ‘feeling the pressure’ to be entertaining for ITV viewers and has shared his fears of ‘imposter syndrome’.

The 25-year-old, who is close friends with fellow contestant rapper Aitch, told the Daily Mail: ‘I saw comments, even on the plane here saying, “Ginge and Aitch are going to…” It adds a little bit of pressure because you want to entertain anyway.

‘No matter what goes on in that camp, I want to make it good TV for the people watching. So there’s a little bit of pressure.

‘I think the main one I’m nervous about is meeting the rest of the cast just because I’ve never classed myself as a celebrity.

‘So going up and meeting other people that actually are celebrities, that’s quite nerve-wracking in itself. Because obviously growing up seeing them on TV and stuff like that.’

He added: ‘I’ve got a feeling I might get a little bit of imposter syndrome.’

But the Salford-born internet star admitted he’d got advice from last year’s runner up, Coleen on how to be successful in the Jungle.

Morgan, an avid Manchester United fan, is friends with her husband and the former England football captain, Wayne.

He said: ‘Wayne was buzzing when I told him I was up for it. He said he can’t wait and he’ll be voting for me to do trials as well. So at least I know I’ve got the backing of them to make me do trials.

‘I’ve had some advice from Coleen as well, so that was good. Some tips and tricks while we’re in there.’

The WAG told the social media star to reduce his caffeine intake a month before and to empty his water bottle out at trials so production refill it as the water in camp is ‘smokey’.
