Chris Noth said he felt abandoned by Sex and the City co-star Sarah Jessica Parker after he was accused of sexual assault by multiple women in late 2021.

‘We’re not friends – I think that’s pretty obvious,’ the 71-year-old actor said of his affiliation with Parker, 60, in a preview of his upcoming appearance on the Really Famous with Kara Mayer Robinson podcast, which is set to be released Monday.

Noth said he and Parker’s falling out came after she made a joint statement with their SATC casemates Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon regarding the allegations against him.

At the time, Parker, Nixon and Davis said they were ‘deeply saddened’ and shared their public support for ‘the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences.’

Noth told Robinson that it was ‘disappointing’ to see his once close friends and co-stars seemingly turn their back on him.

‘The statement that they put out — which was nothing more than brand management, really — I don’t know, it was sad, it was disappointing, it was surprising,’ he said.

‘Because you need to call me and hear my side of this. You’ve known me for many years, and we’ve worked [together] for many years.’

The Daily Mail has reached out to Parker’s representatives for comment but has yet to hear back.

‘I get it, that’s more Hollywood than Hollywood. But before you make that statement, you know me, you’ve known me all these years, give me a call so I can give you the real scoop about this.

‘And that didn’t happen, and that was too bad,’ said Noth, who played Mr. Big on Sex and the City and the reboot And Just Like That.

Looking back, Noth says that there were key lessons learned from the situation and that he now knows who his ‘real friends are.’

‘What’s gained is good. You know where people stand and you know who your real friends are and who they’re not.

‘That’s important to know. I just know if it had been on the other hand, I wouldn’t have done that.’

Noth said of the treatment from his SATC co-stars, ‘That was hurtful, and it really affected everything.’

Noth in 2021 issued a statement denying any wrongdoing, saying, ‘The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false.

‘These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago – no always means no – that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual.’

Noth faced professional consequences in the wake of the allegations, as he was fired from his role on the CBS crime drama The Equalizer, and scenes set to air on the finale of And Just Like That… were removed.
