Brooklyn Beckham’s ex-girlfriend has suggested his parents David and Victoria used to tip off the paparazzi on his whereabouts.
The eldest Beckham son, 26, went nuclear on his family last week and said he doesn’t wish to reconcile with them.
Now his ex-girlfriend has waded in on the drama, appearing to suggest that his parents David and Victoria used to tell paparazzi where he was going to be so they would photograph him.
Afton McKeith went to sixth form with Brooklyn in 2017 and the pair had a brief romance.
Speaking to ITV News on Wednesday, Afton, the daughter of TV personality Gillian McKeith, said: ‘I could see that he would get visibly distressed and anxious.
‘I do know that there were paparazzi every single, like, pretty much every day. And somebody would’ve been organising that, who knew his schedule inside out because it’s not like random.’

Speaking to ITV News on Wednesday, Afton, the daughter of TV personality Gillian McKeith, said: ‘I could see that he would get visibly distressed and anxious’
When asked who she thought had been tipping off the paparazzi about Brooklyn’s movements, Afton replied: ‘I won’t say who I think it was, but I have an idea in my mind.
‘I’m not going to implicate anybody.’
She was further probed, asking if she thought it was someone at school, to which she responded: ‘No, I don’t think it was anyone at school.
‘I think it was someone who knew his schedule from start to finish, of his day inside out, everywhere he went, what break he would’ve had.
‘So, you can think about who that might be that would know that.’
When asked ‘Surely not his parents?’ Afton refused to comment further and shared a knowing look.
Afton also talked about his decision to speak out now. She said: ‘I think that Brooklyn made the right decision in coming out with a statement, because after many years, of what I think is a false narrative about Brooklyn and Nicola portrayed in the press publicly, it can become overwhelming and stressful to have an inaccurate narrative of yourself put out in the press constantly.
‘And so, it became too much for him. I think doing the best for your children is protecting your children.

‘And putting your children in the public eye is very exposing.’
It comes after Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz’s former wedding planner has waded into their family row and said he was ‘surprised’ by the aspiring chef’s bombshell statement.
Their former wedding planner Preston Bailey shared that he was shocked he hit out against his parents in such a public and brutal manner.
Preston was embroiled in wedding drama himself and didn’t end up seeing their planning job through – instead going on to be replaced by Arianna Grijalba and Nicole Braghin.
After quitting as the first planner – Bailey claimed at the time he was ‘overcommitted’ on other jobs so ‘couldn’t deliver to the quality I was used to.’ He said in 2023: ‘I have the best to say about the Peltzes and Nicola. There wasn’t any bad blood.’
In a subsequent legal filing, Nicola’s dad Nelson Peltz said Bailey encountered ‘challenges’ while planning the enormous event, which took place at the family estate in Palm Beach, Florida and reportedly cost around $3.5million.
Now Preston has spoken of his experiences with Nicola and Brooklyn while he was still planning the wedding.
He told Page Six: ‘It surprises me that he is taking this stand against his parents. That’s not the Brooklyn I met as far as him being this nice, gentle guy… He was just a nice, regular person who would say hello and chit chat.

‘I can tell you about my experience with Brooklyn. While we were planning, clearly as far as the details for the design, he was very much involved. I have always thought of him as a gentle, decent guy. There was never any tension.’
‘I don’t remember her being bossy. I remember a lot of affection between them. Whatever design was done was presented to Nicola, but it was important for her to have Brooklyn approve it. She wasn’t going to do anything without his approval.’
Nicola was portrayed as a ‘nightmare bride’ in a documentary about her bitter dispute with her wedding planners for her lavish 2022 nuptials.
The wedding took place in April 2022 in the Palm Beach, Florida, mansion of Nelson Peltz, Nicola’s billionaire investor father.
The three-day event attracted celebrities like Eva Longoria, Gordon Ramsay and Venus and Serena Williams, as well as David and Victoria.
Behind the scenes there were ugly tensions which came to the surface when Nelson Peltz sued Plan Design, Braghin and Grijalba’s Miami-based wedding planning company several months after the event.
They were fired after just eight days because, as was claimed in legal filings, they were incapable of doing the job and had ‘hoodwinked’ the Peltz family into thinking they could do it.
