Britney Spears slammed her “cruel” exes Tuesday after her third ex-husband, Sam Asghari, claimed their marriage hurt his career.
“AN EXTREMELY SHADY WEEK AND NOT FEELING the love and honestly if I did I’D GRACIOUSLY SEND IT RIGHT BACK TO YOUR ASS !!! F–KING BIRDS!!!” the pop star wrote in a lengthy Instagram caption.
“I honestly think it started at the beginning of this year when I’m so turned off by humanity and the way people have literally … I have no words!!!” she added.
Spears, 43, then spoke about her close connection with God and animals before unleashing on two of her unnamed exes.
“Anyways I dated two f–king complete a–holes after that and I realized I loved their dogs more than them and I think it’s because their dogs bowed to me every time I entered the room!!!” she wrote.
“Now the guys were of course cruel humans that never even acknowledged me and never held my hand in the car for 6 years!!! I choose animals over people anyday!!!” the “Gimme More” singer added.
Page Six has reached out to Ashgari for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Though it’s unclear which two of Spears’ exes she is talking about, her post came a day after Asghari, 31, appeared on Page Six Radio and discussed how their whirlwind marriage both helped and hurt his career.
“I can’t sit here and lie and say, ‘It wasn’t good for me,’” the Iranian-born model began. “When you’re in such a public relationship, that gives you that platform — it sort of gave me that platform for who I am.”
Though Asghari said the romance boosted his career, it also hindered it.
“Did it make me, you know, have to work harder to prove myself? Absolutely,” he told radio hosts Ian Mohr and Danny Murphy.
The “Traitors” star claimed casting agents questioned whether they wanted to hire “someone that’s a cheesy trainer” and was “associated with a pop star.”
Asghari and the Grammy winner met in 2016 on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video.
Spears and the former trainer tied the knot in a lavish, star-studded ceremony in June 2022.
In August 2023, Asghari filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. The exes finalized their divorce in May 2024.
Earlier this year, Asghari confirmed that he signed an NDA during his seven-year relationship with the mom of two. Spears was previously married to Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2007 and Jason Allen Alexander in 2004. She shares her two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, with Federline.
