Britney Spears allegedly caused a scene while dining at a Los Angeles restaurant with two friends on Wednesday.
Sources told TMZ that the pop star “was raising her voice, screaming, and even barking at times” during the incident at Blue Dog Tavern in Sherman Oaks, which witnesses described as “chaotic” and “kind of sad.”
A restaurant patron claimed Spears, 44, walked by their table holding a knife and sparked fear that she might accidentally stab someone.
The “Toxic” singer, who was with a man and a woman, reportedly lit a cigarette near the door, which forced staff to ask her male friend to have her put it out.
While at the table, Spears was allegedly feeding her male pal and told him, “I love you.” The outlet noted it’s unclear if Spears meant it or was just being playful.
Spears was taken home by her security after the incident, per TMZ.
One witness told the outlet Spears’ table looked “like a toddler had been there.”
Page Six has reached out to Spears’ rep for comment.
After her March 4 DUI arrest, Spears checked herself into a rehab facility on April 12 and was seen for the first time since leaving on April 30.
A source close to Spears told Page Six that she’s “doing really well” and is “excited to start afresh” following her rehab stint.
“Rehab was a great opportunity for her to ground herself,” the insider added.
A second source told us the mom of two is “continuing counseling remotely.”
The Princess of Pop pleaded guilty to a charge from her DUI arrest on May 4.
Her lawyer accepted an offer for her charge to be reduced to “wet reckless,” which is common in cases for first-time offenders with a low blood alcohol count and no prior crashes.
The judge ordered Spears to a one-year informal probationary grant and to complete a three-month alcohol school.
She did not attend the May 4 court hearing.
Since her arrest, Spears has spent more time with her sons Sean, 20, and Jayden, 19, who allegedly convinced her to go to rehab.
