Bella Hadid was reportedly pulled over by police just moments before on-again off-again boyfriend Adan Banuelos was arrested for public intoxication.
According to a police report obtained by TMZ, deputies pulled over the model in the parking lot of Gator’s Cantina in Weatherford, Texas in the early morning hours of Saturday, when Banuelos came toward them.
“I immediately noted that Adan’s speech was slurred and his eyes were bloodshot and glassy,” the arresting officer alleged in the report.
The report also noted an “odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath” as Banuelos explained that he was worried about Hadid.
Per the report, Banuelos claimed Hadid went back into the bar because she left her phone there, and he “followed her,” adding that he “cared for her.”
Authorities wrote in their report that as they spoke with Banuelos, his white truck continued to run while a dog, which he claimed was Hadid’s, was still inside.
Banuelos reportedly consented to a field sobriety test after confessing to consuming “four” beers that day — which led to his arrest.
The report stated that Banuelos was taken into custody as a precaution against him “possibly driving a vehicle or posing a danger to himself or others.”
“I released Adan’s property and his vehicle to his girlfriend, who was identified as Isabella Hadid, at his request,” the report read, per the outlet.
The professional cowboy was subsequently transported to Parker County jail, where he was questioned — and according to the report, he strenuously denied having driven to the bar and refused to give a name for who did.
The horseman, 36, reportedly told authorities that “he was at home with a friend when Isabella came home and then left again to go back to the bar.”
“Adan said that he and his friend got into the truck and drove after Isabella, and when they arrived at the bar, his friend went inside, and Adan walked over to the traffic stop.”
A rep for Hadid, 29, did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment on Wednesday.
Page Six confirmed on Saturday that Banuelos had been arrested for public intoxication, following TMZ’s initial report. He was released the same day after paying a minor bond of $386.
Page Six confirmed earlier last week that he and Hadid had split after two years of dating, with a source calling their relationship “tumultuous.”
Breakup rumors first emerged in June 2025, but died down after the athlete shared an Instagram birthday wish for Hadid in October, writing in part, “Love you, baby. I’ll keep reminding you every day just how much.”
A source told Page Six earlier this week that the pair’s difficulties may come down to differing lifestyles.
“She’s the daughter of Mohamed and Yolanda Hadid,” a source told us of the reality star and real estate titan. “It’s such a different way of growing up.”
