An Australian influencer has divided opinion after sharing a video of her racy wedding dress.

Dominique Elissa, who wed Tom Bull in June last year, sparked the controversy recently after re-posting a clip from her nuptials as she reminisced on her first wedding anniversary.

The couple exchanged vows in Sicily at a 14th-century castle overlooking the ocean, with the bride donning a voluminous custom-made gown.

She changed multiple times, later wearing the Babette maxi dress from Grace Loves Lace for her reception as she danced into the night.

‘Getting our guests to join our first dance got the party started like nothing else could have!!’ Dominique wrote on Instagram alongside a clip of the reception gown.

But it was the see-through quality of the delicate lace that had some up in arms, with Dominique going braless and flashing perhaps more than she intended.

‘I think the dress is beautiful but I can’t imagine my parents and grandparents and in-laws seeing my nipples,’ wrote one person in the comments section.

One more suggested she change into one of her earlier gowns that showed ‘no nipples.’

Another person called the look, ‘diabolical’.

Others defended the social media sensation and loved the edgy look.

‘It’s like no one in the comments section seen a nipple before lol,’ commented one fan.

‘Men calm down. We were all breastfed as babies to survive. As adults surely we can normalise seeing bare breasts without making a big deal out of it, for God’s sake,’ another person wrote.

Someone else said: ‘It’s her night, her dress, her wedding, and clearly no one else had a problem with them.’

‘My favourite look,’ wrote another person, while several asked where she got her gown.

The Sicilian nuptials were Dominique’s second wedding ceremony with Tom, after she tied the knot in the Prince of Wales Hospital just two weeks after getting engaged back in March 2025.

The Aussie model was forced to move her wedding ceremony to the hospital after her mother Odile Faludi’s health began to decline following a stage 4 cancer diagnosis.

She revealed on Instagram she was initially ‘upset, angry and a mess’ when she received the heartbreaking news, but decided she would stop at nothing to have her mother walk her down the aisle.

Sharing images and video of the bittersweet ceremony with her followers, Dominique and Tom made the best of their union as they celebrated with their families, who met for the first time on the big day.

Dominique detailed how heartbroken she first was when she learned she had to have her wedding ceremony at the hospital.

‘When we were told the day before that we had to move our ceremony to the hospital, every part of me didn’t want to do the reception anymore,’ she said.

‘I was upset, angry and a mess. I took time away to think [about] the decision and realised it was more important than ever that our families could have time to unite and get to know each other.

‘I’m so happy we did, and the sun came out to create some magic moments for us.’

Dominique became engaged in March 2025 when Tom popped the question on the Hawkesbury River near Sydney.
