Amid Indo-Pak war, Aly Goni expresses concern for family in Jammu and Kashmir; says ‘Sleepless and shattered’

Aly Goni is a popular television actor who is currently outside India for a shoot and recently expressed his gratitude to the Indian Air Force for the drone and missile attacks by Pakistan on Jammu. Aly mentioned that he has been worried about his family in Jammu and has a sigh of relief upon learning that everyone in his home is safe. He said that the Indian Armed Forces remain vigilant amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan. Aly Goni took to X (formerly Twitter) and voiced his thoughts about the attacks. “I am out of India shooting and My family is in Jammu I was so mind F**Cked here.. thank god everyone is safe.. Thanks to our IAF,” he wrote.

The actor, who hails from Jammu said, “#Numb Pray for Jammu pray for our families”, he shared another story on his Instagram.

Comedian Samay Raina, who is also from Jammu took to his Instagram and wrote, “My prayers are with everyone in Jammu. Sleep peacefully and believe in the Indian army Jai Hind.”

The tensions between the two countries have been escalating after a deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22, 2025, which claimed the lives of 27 individuals and left more than 20 others injured. The Resistance Front (TRF), believed to be linked to the Pakistan-based group Lashkar-e-Taiba has claimed responsibility for the attack. In return, India launched “Operation Sindoor” on May 7 and targeted alleged terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir. The operation involved missile strikes on nine locations, including Bahawalpur and Muridke. Pakistan reported civilian casualties from these strikes and also conducted drone and missile attacks on Amritsar. India claims to have intercepted these attacks and has neutralized Pakistani air defense systems in Lahore.
