Margot Robbie is bringing the Yorkshire moors to Hollywood.
The actress, 35, has officially kicked off her press tour for “Wuthering Heights” — and she and her longtime stylist Andrew Mukamal are pulling fashion references directly from the pages of Emily Brontë’s 1847 gothic novel.
Nearly three years since her “Barbie” red carpet extravaganza, Robbie is once again proving she’s the reigning queen of method dressing with showstopping gowns, exceptional accessories and Victorian-inspired silhouettes. The film, directed by Emerald Fennell and co-starring Jacob Elordi, hits theaters on Feb. 13. Below, see all of the wildly romantic looks.
Putting the “Heights” in “Wuthering Heights”
Robbie started the press tour on Jan. 26 in a black Roberto Cavalli Resort 2026 minidress featuring dramatic bell sleeves and a square neckline trimmed in velvet. She accessorized with a striking ruby and gold pendant necklace on a black velvet choker and wore Christian Louboutin’s punishingly steep patent leather stilettos. The heels measured 130mm — more than five inches, practically en pointe.
“Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
For her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” Robbie slipped into a sheer black lace Alexander McQueen minidress from the label’s spring 2026 collection. The gothic piece had a keyhole front, asymmetric hem, worn with vintage McQueen rosary bead sandals and Jessica McCormack diamond earrings.
Her hair was styled in loose, windswept waves — a subtle nod to the wild Yorkshire moors.
Double the feathers
For a Los Angeles press day, Robbie wore two feathered Victoria Beckham spring 2026 looks, each an ode to a specific passage in the novel. Mukamal captioned the photos with a quote from the book describing her character’s descent into madness: “Tossing about, she increased her feverish bewilderment to madness, and tore the pillow with her teeth… she seemed to find childish diversion in pulling the feathers from the rents she had just made, and ranging them on the sheet according to their different species.”
Sizzling snakeskin
Robbie went wild for a Los Angeles photocall in a crimson Dilara Findikoglu set: a high-low micro-miniskirt, beaded bra top and ruffled jacket with a built-in corset. She completed the look with snakeskin pumps and a red choker with a diamond pendant. Mukamal captioned this look with another line from the novel: “I’d rather be hugged by a snake. 🐍”
Los Angeles premiere
For the film’s Los Angeles premiere on Jan. 28, Robbie pulled out all the stops in a dramatic Schiaparelli ball gown with layers of lace, velvet and satin. Designer Daniel Roseberry described the intention behind the custom look in a video, saying the silhouette provided the drama, the sheer black lace corset bodice brought the romance and the scarlet red hem represented the passion in the story.
But the real pièce de résistance? Cartier’s Taj Mahal necklace — the very piece Richard Burton gifted Elizabeth Taylor for her 40th birthday in 1972. When Burton presented it to his wife, he famously quipped: “I would have liked to buy her the Taj Mahal, but it would cost too much to transport.”
Inscribed on the piece is a quote that could have been lifted straight from Brontë’s novel: “Love is Everlasting.”
