Weekends are supposed to be for rest, and what better way to do that than by watching a film?
Hulu has a slew of them, and the only problem is deciding which ones you should watch.
Watch With Us is here to help with a handy list of the three best new Hulu movies to watch this weekend.
Our selections include the critically acclaimed 2025 dramedy Twinless, the Mila Kunis-led comedy Bad Moms and the tender coming-of-age drama Little Manhattan.
‘Twinless’ (2025)
When Dennis (James Sweeney) meets Rocky (Dylan O’Brien), he thinks it’s love at first sight, but Rocky is just looking for a quick hookup and subsequently ignores Dennis’ attempts to communicate. After Rocky is killed in a car accident, Dennis finds solace by attending a support group where Rocky’s straight twin brother, Roman (also O’Brien), is a member. Dennis lies about having a dead twin to grow closer to Roman, but as their relationship deepens, will he work up the courage to tell Roman the truth?
One of the best movies of 2025, Twinless is an introspective drama about a well-meaning guy who does some pretty shady things to get what he wants. Rocky never loved Dennis, but it was the possibility of love that made Rocky seem more desirable than he actually was. Roman is the better twin, but he’s not attracted to Dennis or any other man. He grows to care about him, though, and the beauty of Twinless is to watch their complicated relationship develop into something meaningful.
Twinless is streaming on Hulu.
‘Bad Moms’ (2016)
Amy Mitchell (Mila Kunis) has had it — officially. After catching her slimeball husband cheating on her with a camgirl, she decides she’s not going to act like the perfect wife and mother everyone expects her to be. After loudly and publicly quitting the PTA, she meets and bonds with two other moms who don’t give a damn anymore: cool Carla (Kathryn Hahn) and timid Kiki (Kristen Bell).
Together, these “bad moms” go rogue, going on all-night benders and flouting the authority of the overbearing Gwendolyn (Christina Applegate). But how long can they be bad before it harms their kids?
A big hit when it came out in 2016, Bad Moms is a winning comedy that gives a few underrated actresses a chance to shine. As the titular trio who are up to no good, Kunis, Bell and Hahn flex all the considerable comedic skills they honed on TV in such series as That ‘70s Show, Veronica Mars and Parks and Recreation, respectively. Hahn, in particular, gleefully hams it up as a rebellious mama not unlike Samantha Jones from Sex and the City. She does who and what she wants, when she wants, and she doesn’t apologize for it. Good for you, sister.

‘Little Manhattan’ (2005)
Josh Hutcherson currently stars in the hit HBO series I Love LA, but he’s been a working actor for over two decades now. One of his earliest big roles was in the sweet comedy Little Manhattan, a 2005 indie film that depicts the unlikely relationship between two kids in Manhattan.
Hutcherson plays Gabe, an adventurous 10-year-old whose parents, Adam (Bradley Whitford) and Leslie (Cynthia Nixon), are getting a divorce. Maybe that’s why he’s constantly travelling throughout the borough on his scooter, looking for anything to distract him from his home life. That’s when he meets Rosemary (Charlie Ray), an 11-year-old girl who attends the same karate class as him. They hit it off right away, but can two kids juggle the demands of living in NYC, the anxiety of going to camp in the summer and the uncertainty of first-time love?
Little Manhattan is a family-friendly alternative to all those raunchy love stories that seem to dominate streaming nowadays. In addition to being a rom-com, it’s also a nice postcard of Manhattan itself, from the lush green fields of Central Park to the 19th-century buildings that line the Upper West Side. If you’ve never been to the Big Apple, you’ll feel like you have after watching Little Manhattan.
